GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS:

- Strong Computer Skills
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task assigned projects, and work with minimal supervision to ensure that deadlines are met
- Come to work on time prepared to contribute substantially to the company’s growth and success

- Willingness to assist in train less experienced personnel
- Possess notable organizational and communications skills
- Knowledge of field survey operations, engineering and construction industry a plus
- Understanding of survey calculations/principles a plus

PARTY CHIEF
RESPONSIBILITIES
Field calculations and sketching
- Prepared to handle all phases of field work including: Boundary & Topographical Surveys; Construction Layout; As-Built surveys and utilization of a Robotic total stations and GPS/GNSS equipment
- Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain and prepare data needed for field work.
- Determine best methods and procedures for establishing/maintaining survey control.
- Downloading and compilation of field data sketches; and checking raw field data
- Quality control of all survey documents, including field notes, sketches, plans, etc.
- Communicate project requirements/findings with the surveyor/party chief so that a project can be completed in an efficient manner. Supervision and preventive care of company vehicle, cellular phone for business related purposes and survey equipment each day
- Supervision, preventative care of survey field equipment/tools
- Other duties as assigned
TRANSIT/INSTRUMENT PERSON
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recognize what is required for a project based upon a client’s request
- Create a cad file from field data (points/raw data), field sketches, digital photographs and reference maps/documents
- Read and understand legal documents or maps/plans, such as record maps, deeds, and building design plans
- Communicate project requirements/findings with the surveyor/party chief so that a project can be completed in an efficient manner.
- Other duties as assigned
ROD PERSON
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operation of Total Station, Levelling, and GNSS Equipment as needed
- Required to keep notes to support raw field data.
- Awareness of any unique site condition that could potentially affect measurements.
- Ready and willing to follow instruction and direction of the crew chief
- Basic drafting and CAD operation
- Perform equipment checks to ensure that measurements are accurate.
- Other duties as assigned
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTENT
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly responsible for client relations
- Answering phones calls, and emails from clients in a respectful manner
- Capable of entering data into the company database
- Making and managing appointments and recording them in the company schedule.
- Ability to move deliverables to clients as quickly and efficiently as possible to meet deadlines.
- Eagerness to work with a client to fully satisfy their requests/concerns
